The Martin family in Deanna Jent’s “Falling” tries to lead a normal life: the father, Bill (Daniel Pearce), would like more time alone with his wife, Tami (Julia Murney); their teenage daughter, Lisa (Jacey Powers), wants to adopt a dog; Bill’s mother, the Bible-toting Grammy Sue (Celia Howard), is coming to visit for a few days. Their suburban home (convincingly conjured by the set designer, John C. Stark) reflects their seemingly mundane affairs. But everyone’s schedule (and patience) is strained by the 18-year-old Josh (Daniel Everidge), who is severely autistic.
