Bristol Riverside Theatre presents The Little Prince by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar, a touching new stage adaptation of the enchanting French fable by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Directed by Susan Atkinson, life-size puppets designed by Emmy Award winner and Jim Henson Muppet Workshop member Michael Schupbach and built by Monkey Boys Productions (Sesame Street, Avenue Q and Little Shop of Horrors) share the stage with actors.

“The Little Prince,” the 1943 novella by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, is not just one of the most beloved children’s stories of all time, it is also a parable celebrating the wisdom of the innocent. After all, it’s about a boy from another planet who teaches an aviator who has crashed in the desert what is important in life.
