If you’ve ever been curious about the motivations of the people who spend their weekends — and sometimes healthy chunks of their lives — participating in meticulous re-enactments of famous Civil War battles, revelations can be found at City Center, where Row After Row, a new play by Jessica Dickey, is being presented by the Women’s Project. Ms. Dickey’s likable comedy-drama reveals that these hyperactive history buffs are just normal folk like the rest of us, with job troubles, love troubles, life troubles — but with a predictable quirk or two.
