"Crane Story" is about a young woman who travels back to Japan to find the soul of her dead brother and put it to rest. Along her journey, she falls in love, and encounters many magical worlds and creatures, like the Librarian of the Dead and a talking Crane. This story is told with an ensemble of actors, puppets, and live music (though it is not a musical).
