“Get on with the play!” It would normally be startling, to say the least, to hear these words loudly verbalized by an audience member in the middle of an evening at the theater. But the new production of Ibsen’s “An Enemy of the People” at the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Harvey Theater violently dismantles the fourth wall in the play’s climactic scene, and all but turns the play into a public referendum on the current state of political and social culture.
