The musical features a book by Dale Wasserman, music by Mitch Leigh, and lyrics by Joe Darion. The timeless tale of Don Quixote and his sidekick features such well-known theatrical standards as "Man Of La Mancha (I, Don Quixote)," "Dulcinea," and "The Impossible Dream (The Quest).

CALL him brave. Call him foolhardy. Call him, if you must, quixotic. But you really can’t blame Brian Stokes Mitchell for wanting to take on the title role in ”Man of La Mancha,” which opened last night in a stiflingly overscaled production at the Martin Beck Theater.
